Apple Crisp Recipe

APPLE CRISP (Honey Pot Hill recipe from their brochure)

4 C sliced apples

3/4 C brown sugar

1/2 C flour

1/2 C oats

1/3 C butter, softened

3/4 tsp cinnamon

3/4 tsp nutmeg

Put sliced apples in greased 8x8x2 baking pan. Mix other ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake for 30 min.

Readers:  Mim says this is just right for sweetness!  This would go great after any meal!

  1. That is a great question! You peel the apples first then you slice them to fit 4 cups. Slicing i.e. a half moon shape. I would say 1/4 ” to 1/2 ” thick. But remember to adjust your time if you cut them thin. by: JC Hines, Mim’s Cookbook & Recipes from
