Julia’s Steamed Buns

Julia’s Steamed Buns with Pork Stir-Fry 酱爆肉夹饼, Chinese Cabbage 大白菜, Seaweed Soup 紫菜汤

Julia’s fluffy steamed buns kneaded in the bread machine, served with strips of saucy stir-fried pork.

Julia used a steamed bun recipe for the breadmaker, in Chinese. I’ve attached it below translated by Google.
She let the dough rise according to the bread machine program, and after forming the buns, she let them rise for another 15 mins.

Add to bread machine in order the following materials:
1 cup milk (you can also use water, but milk will make the result softer and whiter)
3 TABLE SPOON sugar
1 / 2 TEA SPOON salt
1 TABLE SPOON oil (for Flower Buns, 3 TABLE SPOON oil would be better)
2 cups ALL PURPOSE flour (also possible with wholemeal flour)
1 TEA SPOON bread machine YEAST (Julia used regular yeast)

Mix in a bread machine with the standard kneading function. When done, remove dough and leave to rise covered withal damp cloth at room temperature for two to three hours. Julia left it to rise in the machine.

3 TABLE SPOON 糖
1/2 TEA SPOON 盐
1 TABLE SPOON 油 (如果是做花卷,放3 TABLE SPOON油效果会更好)
两杯半ALL PURPOSE面粉 (今天依次发了两种面,白面和全麦的)
1 TEA SPOON面包机专用YEAST

打开面包机的标准搅拌功能,工序完成后拔掉电源,把和好的面倒出在容器里,在室温下发两到三小时后就好了
